Understanding Your Child's Fitness and Motor Skill Progress Report

Your student is expected to demonstrate:

  1. Age appropriate fitness
  2. Age appropriate motor skills

To assess your child's progress in these areas several formal standardized and informal subjective tests are given throughout the school year. Fitness tests are typically administered in the fall and repeated in the spring. The Presidential Challenge Physical Fitness Assessment is a snapshot at a specific time in your child's development.  Parents are encouraged to look at their student's progress and improvement over time.
